There's this stereotype that if you're on diet you don't eat. But not to me darling! I still eat. I eat a lot actually. But in a healthier way. When I decided to lose weight I wanted it to not just be temporary. I've mentioned that in my failed attempts of shedding pounds I always did it the wrong way. I would starve myself. I would fast for a week from junk food and then the week after I would finish 3 original glazed Krispy Kreme donuts. That's just absurd! When I started with the thinspiration project I had to set my mind towards what I want and it was changing my bad eating habits.
?FOMP (Food On My Plate) is the newest feature on my blog that would allow me to share with you guys healthy yet very delicious food to eat. In short, FOOD PORN! Yeah yeah (fist pump!) So for today's entry I chose to feature my usual breakfast. I love breakfast. It's my most favorite meal of the day! Why? It's because breakfast is the meal that carries your energy through the day. (So for those aspiring thinspo people you have to be wary of this. And I'm saying this with full conviction, "Eat yo breaky!")

Wheat Bread?
You need carbohydrates on your plate. Yes, we all know that. But why wheat? Wheat bread has 70 calories compared to your usual white bread which has 120 calories per piece. (Almost double of the calories compared to the wheat bread). It's a healthier option because it is rich with fiber. And since wheat bread is not refined bread (compared to the white bread), you will enjoy more of protein and fiber. It also makes you feel full longer, so it prevents you from overeating.?
Scrambled Egg
Now what else do we need aside from carbs? Of course, protein! Egg is a great source of protein. It contains most of the amino acids that our body needs. I am honestly very happy that egg is a healthy food to eat because it's very delicious! But also make sure to cook your egg with olive oil or corn oil.
Banana
Bananas are known to be a host of vitamins and minerals. Plus it's one of the world's most popular fruit. Recommended by most health trainers, a banana can keep you feel full even after a 90 minute workout in the gym. I tried eating a banana before I worked out in the gym and I really felt twice more energized than having an empty stomach before exercising. Thus, the banana has been my most favorite pre-workout food.?
Green Tea
I just started drinking tea last April because of the article I read online that it helps reduce weight. Though it is still just a theory, I fell in love with green tea because it relaxes my body. I drink it everyday because it's full of antioxidants because it comes from dried leaves. Also it makes me feel awake because of the caffeine in it.?
So that sums up my usual breakfast of the day. I hope you enjoyed reading and if you have any questions feel free to leave a comment or email me at audreyistimeless@gmail.com.
With Love,
B
