Position Overview:3-5 years experience
Associate will manage and carry out a diverse range of assignments, projects, and activities to support and drive the performance of the Marketing team, which markets and sells electricity to customers throughout Texas. Responsibilities will include: supporting acquisition campaigns, completing special projects, and working closely with other groups including Marketing Operations, Analytics, Database Marketing, IT and Channel Marketing to achieve team goals. Associate will also develop and report performance against agreed upon metrics for success with the programs on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development of acquisition marketing campaigns by assisting in offer creation and pricing
- Continuously test and report results from the plan
- Work across the business to ensure alignment and ongoing support for the plan
- Manage integration of pricing into the system and ensure QA/QC for all campaign related processes and tasks
- Identify opportunities for improvement and engage in cross-functional initiatives to drive improved performance. Understand and work with complex systems and processes; effectively translate new and old processes in to standard operating procedures
- Develop, monitor, and analyze key performance metrics for marketing campaigns (i.e. acceptance and attrition rates, margin management, supply management, list yields, channel performance, etc.)
Requirements:
- Experience using qualitative/quantitative research and insights to drive program success
- Experience in MS Office a must (Excel & Access).
- Programming preferred (writing queries to access data for reporting / VBA for Excel)
- Knowledge working with Oracle database preferred
- Ability to streamline in house processes for campaign execution?either by automation or other process related improvements
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with management, employees and vendors
- Ability to lead complex projects involving various departments and functions
- Strong organization and time management skills and detail orientation
- Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment
- Ability to work successfully in a matrixed organization with competing priorities
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience:
- Must have experience in operations (process improvement) and reporting (creating & developing)
- Marketing experience preferred, but not mandatory
- Preferred experience with subscription-based businesses (retail electricity, insurance, cable, internet etc.)
